“TxF300-1600” is a DTF (direct-to-film) printer with a maximum printing width of 160 cm for producing DTF print transfer sheets. “PHT50” heat transfer pigment ink for DTF, consisting of five colors (CMYK and white), has acquired the ECO PASSPORT certification which is essential for obtaining the international safety standard for textile products “OEKO-TEX®”.
The “TxF300-1600” is equipped with approx. 130% of the custom T-shirt print productivity (compared to previous model, TxF300-75).
Furthermore, the printing width has been extended to approx. double that of the previous model, enabling original printing on relatively wide interior fabrics.
What is DTF?
A printing method which prints directly on DTF film, sprinkles hot-melt powder, which is then heated and dried to form transferable ink layer. The ink layer is heat-pressed and transferred to a fabric such as T-shirt.
*Mimaki offerings for DTF printing will be printers, inks and RIP software. Our recommended specifications for the film used to create the transfer sheet, hot-melt powder, powder application equipment, post-processing machines and heat press transfer machines are provided to customers at the time of sale.
